Ultrasound therapy may not be appropriate for everyone. This treatment is not recommended for clients who are pregnant, have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, metal implants in the treatment area, active cancer, epilepsy, blood clotting disorders, or who are currently undergoing radiation or chemotherapy without medical clearance.
It should also be avoided on areas with active infection, open wounds, severe inflammation, cystic or nodular acne, recent surgical sites, or compromised skin integrity. Clients who have recently received injectables, undergone surgery, or had aggressive resurfacing treatments may need to wait before receiving ultrasound therapy. A professional consultation is required to ensure this treatment is safe and appropriate for your individual needs.
